E-chug

Sorry folks, I meant to add this link last week and I forgot. Here is the link to the online alcohol use assessment. Please go and see what your "profile" looks like, as well as the profile of your WKU peers. Please print out the verification form at the end and bring it to class on Wednesday.
Thanks!

For Monday, December 3

Yes, it is finally December! We will continue our discussion of health and wellness issues, and we will also talk about money management. Finally, we will discuss preparations for final exams and have our last discussion of Freakonomics (on Wednesday). Perhaps we can have a freaky party of some kind to celebrate . . . . Bring your ideas.
So, for Monday, please read the rest of Unit nine. Also, remember to bring your journal entry on health and wellness issues. (This is the sheet I handed out on the 28th. If you don't have it, there are more outside my office.)
Have a nice weekend!

For Wednesday, November 28

The end is near! (We only have three class meetings left this semester.)
On Wednesday, we will be discussing health and wellness issues. To prepare, please read pp. 288-311 in Foundations. Be prepared to handle all of the review questions at the end. Hint, hint.
Also, remember that your resumes are due on Wednesday-- make them complete and neat.

US sets new record!

For sexually transmitted disease infections . . . .
The Center for Disease Control in Atlanta reports that the US set a new record for STDs in 2006. For more information, go to the following link:
